Jeff Mascott (Adfero Group)
Jeff Mascott is the Managing Partner of Adfero Group, a strategic communications firm headquartered in Washington, DC. Jeff is responsible for Adfero’s long-term vision and strategic planning to guide the firm’s continued growth and success. Adfero’s rapid expansion was recognized for four consecutive years in Inc. magazine’s top 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
With a unique blend of political experience, business savvy, communications and technology expertise, Jeff has helped Adfero become a public relations leader that is consistently recognized for staying ahead of industry trends and earned him a spot on PRWeek’s “40 Under 40.” This expertise also helped Adfero gain recognition from PRWeek as a “Top Place to Work in PR” and as a finalist for “Small PR Firm of the Year.”
Jeff regularly writes and speaks on a wide range of issues including emerging communication trends, public affairs and advocacy strategy; and corporate social responsibility. He founded the blog, K Street Café, bringing together experts to share innovative ways organizations use current and emerging strategies to help shape public policy. Formerly an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, Jeff taught peers and future industry leaders the rising trends in interactive public relations and how to optimize PR campaigns digitally.
Jeff is the Founder and Owner of Fireside 21, a software services company that helps legislators more effectively manage communications with their constituents. Previously Jeff worked in a Leadership Office on Capitol Hill, developing digital strategies for Members of Congress. The Congressional Management Foundation praised Jeff’s work as “pushing the boundaries of what is possible for Congress on the web.”
Jeff is a Washington, D.C. native and a graduate of the University of Maryland. He lives with his wife, Jenn, and their four young children, Avery, Everett, Eli and August, in the D.C. area.
